Mental health issues in the workplace

      by paula_admin

What a fantastic post by MIND. Have you read this?

      https://www.linkedin.com/posts/mind_2_small-ways-to-make-a-change-activity-6885184660092055552-V0Nb

Interested in improving the mental health of your staff or colleagues? Then this is for you.

There is plenty of motivation for employers to step up and now is a good time to do it.

By addressing mental health issues in the workplace and investing in proper Mental health care, productivity increases while absenteeism and medical costs decrease.

Poor communication and management practises i.e. inflexible working hours & limited participation in decision making can contribute to poor mental health in the workplace.

I love the idea of a Mental Wellbeing Strategy in the workplace as suggested in this MIND post, ‘Small ways to make a positive change to Mental health at work’

It’s so useful and has lots of great tips to get started.

Reconstructing a better and more resilient workforce is so important in the years to come. We don’t really know how the Pandemic has affected the population which is why this is an essential investment by any employer.

Talking about our mental health can literally save lives.

      FEBRUARY 3rd 2022 is
